This week on KMF brings us 잠비나이 (Jambinai). Less of a metal band and more in the post-punk/experimental rock genre, they are still 100% pure awesome. Similar to Gostwind they mix traditional Korean instruments with hard rocking guitars to create an EPIC sound. Observe:
More bands should bust out wicked loud double reed instruments. In this case guitarist Lee Il Woo brings out a 태평소 (taepyongso) at the 2:20 mark. The wickedest and loudest of Korean double reeds. Hells, yeah. Your KOREAN METAL HOST is totally availble for any band that wants to add one of those bad boys. Call me.
